Kent KGS WM New Look Series

This series of machines has been designed with an extremely rigid structure to perform flat machining within very tight tolerances. The axis slide guides are coated with Turcite-B.

The machine functions are managed by a Mitsubishi PLC, the main controls are placed on a panel with a liquid crystal “Touch Screen”. On the screen it is possible to set the total amount of stock to be removed, the increment of roughing, finishing, the number of flame extinguishing passes and the retraction value of the grinding wheel head at the end of the cycle.

Hydraulic longitudinal table movement, with sliding on large prismatic surface guides combined with a special reversal valve allows to obtain an exceptionally smooth movement with speeds of up to 28 m/min. The transversal axis guides are double V-shaped with a large section and guarantee rectilinear and accurate movement over time. Valve group and hydraulic control unit are separated from the machine body.

The grinding wheel spindle rotates on super precise angular contact bearings (class P4) preloaded and lubricated for life.

Ergonomic layout and accessible to the operator both for daily use and for maintenance.
