Okuma VTR series
Economical heavy machining of large cylindrical and heavy workpieces: The state-of-the-art gantry-type turning and milling centres with double-column design are particularly suitable for the complete machining of workpieces up to approx. Ø 3,500 mm and machining lengths up to approx. 2,400 mm.
The VTR series is appreciated for its robust machine bed with solid construction and large flat rails. The proven Thermo-Friendly Concept guarantees high measuring accuracy – even in the case of variations in ambient temperature.
Automation by means of head exchange and pallet systems complete the wide range of system configurations, allowing a broad variety of workpieces to be machined.
