Sodick is launching its entry-level VL series onto the market, which complements the top-of-the-range ALC series.
Although it is described as ‘entry-level’, the VL delivers top-class performance.
This is made possible by features that have always set Sodick products apart in the EDM sector:
- Planar motors that ensure precision, repeatability and a long service life;
- Ceramic: which ensures thermal insulation and stability;
- A new thread-feeding system;
- HeartNC integrated CAD/CAM programming system, which enables production to commence immediately after the machine has been installed;
- Compensation for wire wear, reduction of the ‘botte’ effect and a surface finish of 0.35Ra.
This range is available in three sizes to suit all needs:
- VL 400Q
- VL 600Q
- VL 600QH
