Roboze

Roboze S.p.A. is an Italian company specialising in high-precision 3D additive manufacturing. Founded in 2013 in Bari by Alessio Lorusso, the company designs and manufactures industrial 3D printers integrated with automation systems for processing super-polymers and advanced materials. The aim is to enable decentralised, bespoke production for highly strategic sectors such as aerospace, defence, motorsport and the automotive industry, with partners and clients including the likes of Airbus, GE and Bosch.

The metal vanishes

The material of the future takes shape

In a world where weight is a constraint and traditional supply chains are faltering, Roboze does more than just 3D print: it is redefining global manufacturing.
Our true hallmark is replacing metal with the mechatronic precision of our systems and the strength of ultra-high-performance super-polymers. Our promise is to make extreme engineering lighter, stronger and more efficient, bringing high-tech manufacturing directly to where it’s needed, exactly when it’s needed.

Features and benefits

  • Use of the patented ‘Beltless System’ mechatronic system, which replaces traditional rubber belts with hardened steel racks and pinions, ensuring accuracy in the micrometre range (up to 10–15 m) and long-term repeatability;
  • The ability to print at high temperatures (up to 500 °C) using advanced extruders and controlled heating chambers (up to 180 °C) designed to handle the melting of extremely high-viscosity materials without thermal shrinkage;
  • Specialisation in Super-Polymers and Composites: optimised solutions for the machining of polymers with high mechanical, thermal and chemical performance, such as PEEK, Carbon PEEK, Carbon PA and ULTEM™;
  • Active control of humidity and environmental conditions through the use of active filament drying before and during extrusion, ensuring consistent structural stability of the parts;
  • Industrial automation and process control, incorporating industrial PLCs, multiple sensors and remote diagnostics for the continuous monitoring of printing parameters and the traceability of manufactured parts.
