The Kaizen method in Celada
Celada has long been implementing a Kaizen programme aimed at all employees, based on a new approach designed to improve business performance and the well-being of staff.

A method, a philosophy
The Kaizen method is both a Japanese philosophy and methodology designed to promote continuous improvement across the entire organisation. It is the result of the combination of two terms: KAI (change, improvement) and ZEN (good, better), and means constantly changing for the better.
Masaki
Imai
The first person to speak of Kaizen was Masaaki Imai, who, in 1986, outlined the business philosophy that fuelled the successes of Japanese industry in the 1980s, referring in particular to Toyota.

Celada’s 5 construction sites
There are 5 working groups active at Celada: these are cross-functional teams working on problem-solving; the groups meet periodically to share the progress made and the new objectives identified.
