The Neway FB series brings together floor-type CNC boring-milling machines, with a travelling column on a floor bedplate, dedicated to drilling, boring and milling large, heavy components. The range covers five configurations, from FB130 to FB200 (FB130HC, FB160HC, FB160HZ, FB200H, FB200J). The representative FB160 size provides travels of 8,000 mm in X, 3,000 mm in Y and 1,000 mm in Z, with a 2,500 x 3,000 mm table rated up to 40,000 kg. The BT50 spindle delivers 44 kW in continuous duty and 51 kW peak and turns up to 2,000 rpm, with torque from 3,080 to 3,572 Nm intended for heavy stock removal on steel and cast iron. The floor layout allows bulky workpieces typical of heavy fabrication, the energy sector and the construction of machine-tool bases to be machined.
