The Neway PMW-MSC series brings together moving-column portal centres fitted with a W axis, a moving crossrail that adjusts the spindle height in addition to the Z travel, with a 2,250 mm stroke. It is available in three sizes (PMW40120MSC, PMW40140MSC, PMW40160MSC). On the representative PMW40120MSC model, travels reach 12,500 mm in X, 6,200 mm in Y and 1,500 mm in Z, with a 5,200 mm distance between columns and a 4,000 x 12,000 mm table. The spindle runs from 40 to 1,500 rpm and delivers 44 kW continuous and 64.6 kW peak, with torque from 2,984 to 3,653 Nm for very demanding stock removal. The taper is BT50 (BT60 and JT60 optional), the magazine holds 32 tools (up to 60), rapids reach 10 m/min and the control is Siemens ONE, with Fanuc 31i on request. The configuration is 4-axis.
