The MA-V series, with its innovative hybrid flat guideways, is synonymous with fast travel speeds. It is suitable for heavy milling, has excellent damping properties and ensures maximum stability.

The machine’s heavy cast table ensures low noise during the milling process, greatly reducing tool costs and guaranteeing excellent surface quality.

The One-Touch IGF conversational programming system is particularly suitable for workshop programming, and rotary tables can be used for 4- and 5-axis simultaneous machining.

A pallet changer is available as an option for automation purposes.

The Okuma MA-550VB is a vertical machining centre from the MA-V series, combining box ways and linear guides to pair rigidity with dynamics. With travels of 1,300 x 560 x 560 mm and a 1,300 x 560 mm table, it handles medium-to-large parts in both roughing and finishing. The spindle reaches 25,000 rpm with 15/11 kW (up to 22/15 kW) and a CAT50 taper, while the tool magazine ranges from 32 to 60 pockets. The Okuma OSP control ensures repeatable cycles and accurate command of the three axes.
