You Ji VMT

The VMT 1000 + Y series multifunctional turning and milling centre represents a modern, technologically advanced solution for a wide range of users with complex machining requirements for medium/large workpieces requiring high precision, rigidity, stability and cutting capacity.

In particular, the structural strength of the bed and spindle line make the VMT series extremely effective both in general mechanical applications, characterised by high stock removal, and in medium and high production applications, with finishing and superfinishing on various types of steel, from the toughest to the most alloyed.

The You Ji VMT is a vertical turn-mill centre that integrates vertical turning and 5-face milling (4+1 with C-axis) in a single machine. On the VMT-1000+Y model, turning diameter and height reach 1,000 mm; the double-wound main spindle delivers 30 HP (about 22.4 kW) at 0-1,500 rpm with an A2-11 nose and roughly 2,983 Nm of torque, while the 20 HP (about 14.9 kW) milling spindle runs at 3,500 rpm with a BT-50 taper. Travels are 1,120 mm in X, 749 mm in Y and 1,135 mm in Z. The arm-type magazine carries 24 tools (40/60 optional) and the Fanuc 31iT-B control manages complete part machining, from turning to milling, in a single setup.
