You Ji YB

The YB series of horizontal 3-slide flatbed lathes is the result of a series of studies carried out by YOU JI on the entire range of its horizontal lathes, the main objective of which was to achieve great versatility of use, so much so that the machine in question is suitable for machining in the energy sector, oil, wind power, mining, railways, steel, petroleum, transmission, nuclear, aeronautics, marine, earthmoving, moulds and dies, automotive, transport, textiles and mechanical engineering in general.

YB models can be equipped with different types of turret and steady rests, either manually or hydraulically operated, for applications where the variety of workpieces to be machined is important, taking advantage of the overall rigidity determined by the proximity of the turret to the workpiece. The YB line includes a series of horizontal lathes and horizontal turning centres for milling, drilling and deep boring, with a platform diameter of 610 to 1,400 mm, a turning diameter of up to 1,600 mm and a turning length of up to 8,000 mm, equipped with a spindle motor of up to 75 kW and a milling motor of up to 22 kW.

The You Ji YB series brings together heavy-duty horizontal flat-bed lathes, engineered for turning demanding workpieces in heavy industrial applications. The range comprises two models, the YB55 and the YB63, which share the same flat-bed layout but sit at different capacity levels: the YB55 is the more compact configuration in the series, while the YB63 extends the working envelope and capacity to handle larger workpieces. Both retain the solid construction typical of You Ji heavy-duty machines, with a rigid, reinforced structure designed to ensure stability and accuracy even during extended machining. The idea behind the series is to offer, within a single YB family, scalable solutions for turning large diameters and lengths, leaving the choice of model to the user according to the size of the part to be machined and the productivity requirements of the workshop.
