You Ji YV 1000/1600

The vertical lathes in the YV series are the result of a series of studies carried out by YOU JI on its entire range of vertical lathes, the main aim of which was to make them extremely versatile, so much so that the machine in question is suitable for machining in the energy sector, oil, wind energy, mining, railways, steel, petroleum, transmission, nuclear, aeronautics, marine, earthmoving, moulds and dies, automotive, transport, textiles and general mechanical engineering.

YV models are equipped with a mobile crossbar for applications where the variety of workpieces is important, benefiting from the overall rigidity determined by the proximity of the crossbar to the workpiece. The YV line includes a series of vertical lathes and vertical turning centres for milling, drilling and grinding, with a platform diameter of 1,000 to 1,600 mm and a turning diameter of up to 1,800 mm, equipped with a spindle motor of up to 45 kW and a milling motor of up to 15 kW.

This is a line of extremely advanced machines that are comfortable to use and, in our opinion, are perfectly suited to the evolution of the brands in terms of modernising production and highlighting the innovative efforts of YOU JI’s designers, who draw on the vast experience the company has accumulated over more than 40 years in the vertical turning market.

The You Ji YV vertical turning series spans a wide range of sizes, from the compact YV200 up to the larger YV1600, including YV250, YV420, YV500, YV550, YV600, YV700, YV1000 and YV1200. Turning length increases progressively from 200 mm on the YV200 to 1,200 mm on the YV1600, passing through 250 mm on the YV250, 500 mm shared by YV420, YV500 and YV550, 600 mm on YV600 and YV700, and 900 mm on the YV1000 up to 1,000 mm on the YV1200. Load capacity grows in parallel: maximum workpiece weight ranges from 200 kg on the base model to 300 kg on the YV250, 1,200 kg shared by YV420, YV500 and YV550, 1,800 kg on YV600 and YV700, up to 4,000 kg on the YV1000, 5,000 kg on the YV1200 and 8,000 kg on the YV1600. A scalable range designed to handle rotational parts of progressively larger size and weight.
