The Neway VM-C series brings together moving-column vertical machining centres: the column travels along X while the table stays compact, an ideal solution for long, narrow parts. The series comprises the VM2555C and VM3055C sizes. On the representative VM2555C model, X travel reaches 2,000 mm, with 550 mm in Y and 600 mm in Z, and a 2,500 x 550 mm table rated for 1,200 kg. The electrospindle runs up to 15,000 rpm and delivers 20 kW continuous (S1) and 30 kW peak (S6 40%), with torque from 30.7 to 46 Nm. The taper is BT40, the magazine holds 24 tools, rapids are 30 m/min in X/Y and 24 m/min in Z, with a Neway Fanuc control (Siemens or Mitsubishi optional). The configuration is 3-axis.
