The Neway PM-MSC series brings together larger moving-column (gantry) portal machining centres, in nine sizes (PM30120MSC, PM30140MSC, PM30160MSC, PM35320DMSC, PM40100MSC, PM40120MSC, PM40160MSC, PM50100MSC, PM50120MSC). In this configuration the portal travels along the bed while the workpiece stays fixed. On the representative PM30120MSC model, travels reach 12,500 mm in X, 4,600 mm in Y and 1,250 mm in Z, with a 4,200 mm distance between columns and a 3,000 x 12,000 mm table. The BT50 spindle runs from 40 to 2,500 rpm and delivers 30 kW continuous and 37 kW peak, with torque from 1,993 to 2,458 Nm. The 24-tool magazine (up to 60 optional), 10-12 m/min rapids and a Neway Fanuc control (Siemens 828D on request) complete the package.
