The YMC vertical machining center for ultra-high-precision micro-machining enables high-speed 3D machining of sculptured surfaces.
The machine is equipped with the new Yasda HSK-E32 40000 rpm spindle, high-precision LM guides and linear motors.
Both models are also available in 5-axis versions.
The RT series table is manufactured by Yasda, uses only torque motors and guarantees maximum precision.
The Yasda YMC series (Micro Center) gathers the 3-axis micro machining centres designed for extreme-precision work. The two models YMC430 and YMC650 are built on linear motors and high-precision LM guides, with sub-micron positioning accuracy (0.5 µm in X, 0.6 µm in Y, 0.4 µm in Z). The high-frequency spindle runs from 200 to 40,000 rpm (up to 80,000 optional) with an HSK-E32 taper (HSK-E25 optional). Travels run from 420 x 300 x 250 mm to 600 x 500 x 280 mm, with tables from 600 x 350 to 700 x 550 mm and a load from 100 to 200 kg. The tool magazine starts at 32 positions (up to 90) and the control is a FANUC 31i-B5 Plus with iHMI interface and YASDA OpeNe 2.0. Both models are also available in a 5-axis version with an RT-series torque-motor table.
