For particularly heavy, bulky and long workpieces, which require horizontal clamping and machining, the 2SP-V series is the right choice for the production of components for construction, agricultural and railway machinery. The solid construction of the 4-axis twin-spindle lathes guarantees high-precision machining.

The Okuma 2SP-V series is a line of twin-spindle vertical CNC lathes, designed for the efficient machining of flanged and disc-shaped parts thanks to its two-spindle layout. The range covers very different turning diameters, from 400 mm on the 2SP-V40 up to 760 mm on the 2SP-V760EX, adapting to increasingly larger workpieces while keeping the same overall configuration. On both models the spindle runs at 2,000 rpm, with per-spindle power of 22 kW continuous and 30 kW peak. Each spindle is paired with a 12-position tool magazine, for a total of 24 tools available on the machine. The 2SP-V series thus delivers consistent performance across the whole range, scaling only the turning capacity according to the workpiece.
