Okuma GENOS LII

The machines of the GENOS LII series are cost-effective multi-tasking lathes, yet anything but basic despite their entry-level price.

Built as a single piece, with a cast iron base and a horizontal guideway system with hand-scraped mounting surfaces for the centre and tailstock, these machines guarantee stability, rigidity and precision for the widest range of applications.

The Okuma GENOS LII series brings together horizontal CNC lathes built for robust, versatile production turning, from the entry-level L250 up to the more capable L400M, L2000E and L3000E. Turning diameter ranges from the 220 mm of the L250 (280 mm on the L2000E) up to 310 mm on the L400M and 390 mm (L) / 300 mm (M) on the L3000E, with turning lengths from 290 mm to 500 mm, reaching 1,100 mm as an option on the L400M. Spindle speeds span from 3,000 rpm on the L400M to 4,500 rpm on the L250, up to a 45-5,000 rpm range on the L2000E and 38-3,800 rpm on the L3000E. Spindle power grows from 11/7.5 kW on the L250 to 15/11 kW on the other models, with tool magazines from 8 (12 optional) up to 12 stations.
