Okuma LB EX III

Universal milling machine ideal for single parts and small to medium batch production. The SPACE TURN LB EXII series is particularly suitable for universal turned parts and complete machining of complex workpieces.

The models are available in four sizes and with Y axis and counter spindle as an option. The large, flat-polished guideways and high-torque drives guarantee high precision and accuracy over time.

The Okuma LB EX III series brings together the LB2000 EX II, LB3000 EX III and LB4000 EX III horizontal CNC lathes, designed for production turning across increasing machine sizes while sharing the same design approach. All three models feature a turret with 12 tool stations, providing an ample tool set ready for complex operations without interruption. Rapid traverse is common to the whole series, reaching 25 m/min on the X axis and 30 m/min on the Z axis, for fast positioning and efficient machining cycles. Moving from the LB2000 EX II to the LB3000 EX III up to the LB4000 EX III, the Celada customer can pick the size best suited to the workpiece envelope while keeping the same tool magazine capacity and axis dynamics, for a consistent range that is easy to integrate on the shop floor.
