Ideal for the production of rims in car manufacturing: the flexible 4-axis turning centres of the LAW series with a turning diameter of 500 mm are equipped with a powerful spindle and ten optional tools.
Further advantages are efficient chip disposal, a robot and an ideal design for production lines, which allows almost any configuration for production lines.
The Okuma LAW-2S is a 4-axis horizontal CNC lathe with twin turrets, developed for finishing wheels and large-diameter components. Turning diameter reaches 630 mm over a length of about 898 mm, with a swing of about 790 mm and a 635 mm chuck. The spindle runs at 3,000 rpm with 45 kW continuous power and 55 kW peak, for heavy cuts on tough materials. The two turrets (6 and 4 tools) work in parallel. The control is the Okuma OSP-P200L.
