Okuma MCR-S

The Okuma MCR-S series brings together double-column machining centres in several size variants, designed for dies and large-format parts. Travels cover 4,200 to 6,700 mm in X, 3,200 to 3,700 mm in Y and 800 mm in Z, with a distance between columns of 2,650 to 3,150 mm. The table ranges from 2,000 x 4,000 mm to 2,500 x 6,500 mm depending on the size. The spindle reaches 10,000 to 20,000 rpm with 22 kW continuous and 26 kW peak; the 3-axis architecture enables five-face machining with angular heads. The tool magazine starts at 50 tools and can be extended up to 360, with APC / AAC systems available, all governed by the Okuma OSP control.
