The machining centres of the VM series with cross table are built entirely in grey cast iron to the most stringent standards and are capable of delivering truly outstanding performance.

The base is a single casting, made of fine-grained Meehanite cast iron with heavy ribbing to help prevent vibration and deformation during both heavy cutting operations and high-speed machining.

The extra-wide spacing of the roller guideways provides excellent support for the table regardless of the load distribution on the table.

The table is fully supported in all positions with no overhang.

The column is likewise formed from a cast iron casting, heavily ribbed and oversized in its box-type structure.

The Neway VM series includes vertical machining centres with a cross table designed for milling, available in the VM1050 and VM1270 models. Both versions share a consistent design approach, with rapid traverse rates of 30 m/min ensuring fast positioning between operations and contained cycle times. The Fanuc numerical control, fitted on both models, provides reliable management and a consistent interface across the range, simplifying operator training and part programming. The naming of the two models, VM1050 and VM1270, reflects different working dimensions within the same family, offering a choice calibrated to the size requirements of the workpiece while maintaining the same rapid traverse and control characteristics.
