The horizontal machining centres of Neway's HM Series feature a travelling column design and an inverted T-shaped bed which, being generously dimensioned, provides high structural rigidity.
The automatic pallet changer, together with the large-capacity tool magazine, makes the machine versatile and particularly efficient in the production of small and medium batches.
The Neway HM634HP is a travelling-column horizontal machining centre designed for milling medium-to-large parts. Travels of 1,000 x 850 x 900 mm and a 630 x 630 mm table take workpieces up to 1,200 kg, while the BT50 spindle turns up to 4,500 rpm with 18.5/22 kW of power and 647/770 Nm of torque for confident cutting. Rapid traverses of 30 m/min on every axis and a 32-to-40-tool magazine keep idle times down; the Fanuc 0i-MD control handles 3 axes, with a fourth available as an option.
