The Neway PMB-V series brings together double-column bridge-type (gantry) machining centres with a built-in (motorised) spindle. Compared with the heavy portals, this platform favours speed: the BBT50 spindle runs up to 10,000 rpm, with 26 kW continuous and 45 kW peak power. The range comprises nine sizes – PMB1625V, PMB2030V, PMB2040V, PMB2060V, PMB2540V, PMB2560V, PMB3060V, PMB3080V and PMB4080V. On the representative PMB2040V, travels are 4,000 mm in X, 2,300 mm in Y and 1,000 mm in Z, with a 3,200 mm distance between columns and a 2,000 x 4,000 mm table. Rapids reach 25-40 m/min; a 24-tool magazine and the Fanuc control (Siemens optional) complete a machine built for dies and forms that need high rotational speed.
