VNL-S vertical lathes are equipped with a movable crosshead for uses where the variety of workpieces to be machined is wide, benefiting from the overall rigidity determined by the proximity of the crosshead to the workpiece.
The VNL-S line includes a series of vertical turning lathes , with platform diameters from 1,200 to 5,000 mm, turning diameters up to 5,000 mm, equipped with spindle motors with power up to 75 Kw. In essence, this is a line of highly advanced and comfortable machines, which we believe fully satisfy the evolution of brands with a view to modernity of production and enhance the innovative effort made by NEWAY designers who draw on the vast experience the company has accumulated over more than 30 years in the vertical turning market.
The Neway VNL-HK series brings together large vertical lathes with a movable crosshead, designed for turning heavy parts. The range starts with the VNL125, offering a turning diameter of 1,250 mm, rotating diameter of 1,500 mm, workpiece dimensions of 1,000 mm and a maximum workpiece weight of 5,000 kg, and continues with the VNL160 and VNL180 (turning diameter 1,600 mm, rotating diameter 1,800 mm, maximum workpiece weight 8,000 kg, with workpiece dimensions of 1,600 and 1,800 mm respectively). It then moves up to the VNL250 (turning diameter 2,500 mm, rotating diameter 2,750 mm, maximum workpiece weight 16,000 kg) and to the larger VNL320, VNL400, VNL500 and VNL630, which reach turning diameters of 3,200, 4,000, 5,000 and 6,300 mm and maximum workpiece weights of 32,000, 40,000, 50,000 and 100,000 kg respectively. From the VNL250 to the VNL630 a twin-RAM version is also available. Continuous spindle power starts at 30 kW on the VNL125 and reaches 110 kW on the VNL630.
