Excellent stability and precision for the automotive industry, for tool and mould making or in construction machinery production.

More than 2000 units of the compact MCV-AII gantry machining centre are installed and in operation worldwide. The machine is particularly popular in the machining of general machine components and in finishing. The hybrid guideway design with rollers and sliding guides guarantees a long service life and consistent part quality. The crosshead can be positioned via M-functions in 10 positions and stopped with a mechanical lock.

The Okuma MCV-AII is a double-column (gantry) machining centre available in several sizes, designed for machining large, heavy parts. Travels reach 5,000 mm in X, 2,000 mm in Y and 1,150 mm in Z, with tables up to 1,500 x 5,000 mm and a load capacity of about 5,987 kg. The spindle reaches 10,000 rpm with up to 18.5 kW continuous power and a No. 50 taper; the tool magazine is configurable up to 100 pockets. Rapid traverse of around 20 m/min and Okuma OSP control complete the package.
