Neway NL-S

The horizontal flat-bed lathes in the NL-S range of machines , manufactured by NEWAY, are designed to meet the machining needs of the most demanding industries and currently represent the state of the art in the field of these machines, thanks to the company’s constant commitment to research and development and the achievement of high quality standards.

The supporting structure is designed and built with a one-piece cast-iron meehanite with 3 prismatic flat rails that give the lathe exceptional rigidity.
The lathes are equipped with a 4\8-position turret, and come with numerous accessories, capable of machining parts with a maximum turnable diameter of 1,600 mm, maximum turnable length of 6,000 mm and bar passage of 130 mm.

With rapid feeds of 6 m/min, the machine has 55 Kw at the spindle with mechanical range change and rotation speed of 450 rpm.
Basically, this is a line of machines that are extremely advanced and comfortable in use, which we believe fully meet evolution of the markets with a view to modernity of production and enhance the innovative effort made by NEWAY designers.

The Neway NL-S series brings together 9 flat-bed CNC lathes designed for turning large-diameter, long and heavy parts. The structure is a one-piece meehanite cast-iron monoblock with 3 prismatic flat ways that ensures great stability in cutting. The maximum turning diameter ranges from Ø850 to Ø1,250 mm, with turning length from 1,500 to 5,000 mm and travels of 530-730 mm in X and 1,650-5,150 mm in Z. The spindle, with an A2-11 nose and a 100 to 110 mm bore (130 mm on /H variants), runs from 500 to 630 rpm and delivers 15 to 22 kW continuous (18.5-25 kW peak); the turret has 4 positions and the control is Siemens 828D Basic (Fanuc 0i-TF optional).
