The Cazeneuve OPTIMAX series brings together four CNC horizontal lathes – OPTIMAX 360, 590, 740 and 1100 – designed to cover a wide range of workpiece sizes. Turning diameter over the bed increases progressively from Ø390 mm on the 360 model to Ø584 mm on the 590, then to Ø740 mm and Ø1,070 mm on the 740 and 1100 models, while the distance between centres rises from 700 mm on the compact 360 up to 6,000 mm on the 1100 for the longest workpieces. Spindle power follows the same scaling logic: from 11 kW continuous (S1) with a 22 kW peak (S6) on the 360, up to 22 kW continuous and a 72 kW peak on the 1100. Shared across the range is the proprietary conversational OPTIMAX CNC Assistance control, with a multi-touch console and 3D simulation, as an alternative to Siemens CNC. This range makes it possible to choose, within the same series, the lathe best suited to workpiece size and required power.
