Neway NL-Z

The NL-SCZ range of machines, manufactured by NEWAY, are designed to meet the processing needs of the most demanding industries and currently represent the state of the art in the field of these machines, thanks to the company’s constant commitment to research and development and the achievement of high quality standards.

The supporting structure is designed and built with a one-piece cast iron meehanite and prismatic flat rails that give the lathe exceptional rigidity.
The lathes are equipped with a 12-position turret, and come with numerous accessories, capable of machining parts with a maximum turnable diameter of 630 mm, maximum turnable length of 4,000 mm and bar passage of 116 mm.

With fast feeds of 16 m/min, the machine has 22 Kw at the spindle with a mechanical gearbox and rotational speed of 2,000 rpm.
The NL-SCZ series can be equipped with a bar loader/feeder, a finished part unloading device or a front loader in the case of blank feeding, and numerous other accessories that make it a practically universal means of production in its field of use.

The Neway NL-Z series brings together 4 slant-bed CNC lathes (from NL634Z to NL638Z) with a geared spindle head (gear spindle box) that increases the available torque for heavy machining. The maximum turning diameter is Ø630 mm, with Ø89 mm bar capacity and turning length from 1,000 to 3,000 mm; travels are 350 mm in X and 1,100-3,100 mm in Z. To favor torque, spindle speed is limited to 1,000 rpm, with 22 kW continuous power (26 kW peak) and an A2-11 nose. The servo turret has 12 positions; the meehanite cast-iron structure ensures high rigidity on machine weights from 7,100 to 9,400 kg.
