The Neway PMB-U series brings together bridge (gantry) 5-axis machining centres, available in eleven sizes (PMB1625U, PMB2030U, PMB2040U, PMB2060U, PMB2540U, PMB2560U, PMB3060U, PMB3080U, PMB4080U, PMB2040LU, PMB3060LU). The 5-axis fork head and high-speed electrospindle make them ideal for finishing complex shapes. On the representative PMB2040U model, travels reach 4,000 mm in X, 2,300 mm in Y and 1,000 mm in Z, with a 3,200 mm distance between columns and a 2,000 x 4,000 mm table rated for 5,000 kg. The HSK-A63 electrospindle runs up to 24,000 rpm and delivers 37 kW continuous and 46 kW peak, with torque from 60 to 73 Nm. The 24-tool magazine, 25-40 m/min rapids and a Siemens control (Heidenhain on request) complete the package.
